So back for more information about DVD storage furniture are
you? Well good, because today we are going to talk about how to
use DVD storage furniture to fix a problem that plagues most
American homes and has since the dawn of time it seems, but
really became serious right around 2000 and 2001. In 1999 DVD
players started to see distribution into American homes, but it
was in 2000 and 2001 that the Playstation 2 and Xbox came onto
the scene and literally tripled the problem of digital media
storage. With DVD players built in and the huge library of
games, consumer soon found themselves with far too many disc
cases and far too few spots to put them into.
So the issue becomes, what do you do with all of those movie
and games cases? Well, storing them with DVD storage furniture
is an option that a lot of people typically choose to use
because of it's simplicity and the number of different options
available to you. Whether you choose to use a DVD storage rack,
or a DVD storage cabinet you will find your home room much more
organized than you have been accustomed to as of late. What
type of storage furniture you use is of course something that
depends on how many movies you have to store.
Now comes the fun part - figuring out what size piece of DVD
storage furniture that you need to buy. When working with
people it has been found that the most common error that they
make is to purchase something that just simply hold their
collection as it currently stands, and certainly won't be large
enough to have the capacity for any future growth in their
digital media collection. Don't be one of these people. Make
sure you avoid this pitfall by buying a piece of DVD storage
furniture that will hold your current collection with an
additional 25% capacity at minimum to hold any future additions
that you may and inevitably will have.
How to Suggestions:
-If you only have to store a couple hundred movies and are
limited on floor space, using 3 to 4 wall mounted racks is
likely you ideal solution.
-If your collection is more than 200 discs but fewer than 500
there are a lot of DVD storage cabinets that would be ideal for
your application.
-Even larger DVD storage cabinets are the route to take if you
have more than 500 discs to sort and store.
